What is QUIXOTIC?

We are a SaaS platform for energy marketers (and communities). We automate repetitive processes and optimize communication with the distributor, generating, exchanging and interpreting XML files in a bidirectional way, as well as carrying out the end-to-end billing process.

Is it really “end-to-end”?

Yes, this is our raison d'être. From the integration with the distributors to obtain the data to the creation of official reports from the Ministry or the CNMC, through billing and collection, all these functionalities are modules available in QUIXOTIC.

Where did QUIXOTIC come from?

For years as consultants, we could not find an end-to-end automation solution to help our customers, and we had to develop each time custom solutions whose (regulated) business processes were practically identical. Under this model, generating new “innovative” products was a matter of months, programmers, QA, etc. With QUIXOTIC we created our own data model where we already implemented the necessary complexity to create new products for our customers practically at the click of a mouse, in a matter of days.

How much time can I save with these automations?

In Switching alone, depending on the size and distribution between domestic and industrial CUPS, some energy suppliers spend between 5 and 35 hours a week generating, downloading, importing and exporting files to the distributors, which QUIXOTIC does in a matter of minutes. Is there any type of permanence?

No. We are so confident that you will be satisfied with our solution that there is no start-up fee, and the format is “pay-as-you-go” with no permanence. However, we do have discounted annual plans available.

I have several brands, is QUIXOTIC for me?

Yes, QUIXOTIC has a multi-commodity, multi-point of supply, multi-marketing license and multi-brand data model. We also have figures such as prescribers or external channels, to associate with your contracts or your products.

Who is behind this tool?

The founding team of Calibre 360, a technology consulting firm specialized in the development of multi-platform cloud solutions and integrations for the energy market, after numerous projects in energy production and commercialization, our team has a customer-centric vision for the most common problems of the sector. In 2020 we launched QUIXOTIC.

Who does the integration with our system?

As you may have already imagined, QUIXOTIC is a platform with connectivity via API, so the integration between your system and our platform can be developed by your technical team, external consultants or if you wish, one of our partners.

I am a distributor, is QUIXOTIC for me?

While it is true that QUIXOTIC currently only serves energy marketers, it is true that the data model and many features are valuable for distributors. Contact us to learn more about our roadmap and see if we can help you take your distribution company to the next level of digitalization.

Is QUIXOTIC integrated with all distributors?

With almost all of them. We integrate with more than 250 electricity and gas distributors in the Spanish territory, and of course, the main ones. Contact us and we will share the list.

QUIXOTIC electricity and gas bill?

Yes, energy billing is the core of what we do. We have calendar month or distribution cycle billing, energy + solar panels + virtual batteries, multi-point of supply invoices, payment plans against the same invoice, etc.

Do you invoice individual, collective or community energy self-consumption?

We invoice self-consumption with or without batteries (virtual or physical), promotions, surpluses, etc. We also have a specific module for Solar Communities (or collective self-consumption) that not only invoices, but also manages the betas of distribution and tasks of the community on a daily basis.

I am an Energy Community, can I use QUIXOTIC?

Absolutely. Whether you invoice with QUIXOTIC or not, the Energy Communities module helps you create your community or collective self-consumption, manage production points and distribution betas, as well as communication with community members.

Can I try it?

Yes, through a guided pilot. We ask you to see a Demo first with our team to evaluate that the collaboration makes sense and to orient you on the functionalities and the results to expect. After that Demo we can activate a sandbox environment for you to run your own tests, for a limited period of time.
