What exactly is QUIXOTIC Lite?

It's the fast-start version of QUIXOTIC, built for newly-founded retailers or those who need a basic, ready-to-operate offer. It runs on a preconfigured standard environment, with no integration project or custom development at the start.

Does QUIXOTIC Lite support gas as well as electricity?

Currently, QUIXOTIC Lite is available for electricity only. If you also need to manage gas, the full QUIXOTIC plan supports it from day one.

Can I upgrade from QUIXOTIC Lite to the full plan later on?

Yes. Lite is designed as a starting point. When your operation needs it, you can scale up to QUIXOTIC with guided onboarding, custom products, and additional integrations, without losing your configuration or your data.

What distributor integrations does Lite include?

Lite includes standard connections to 340+ distributors in Spain out of the box. You also get access to our open API, and can activate pre-built integrations (such as P0, SIPS, Holded, or Logalty) as paid add-ons.

Can I customize my contracts, or only use the standard templates in Lite?

In Lite, you work with your own contract template in Word, which QUIXOTIC sends for digital signature and automates from there. Fully custom templates and workflows are available on the QUIXOTIC plan.

Is there a minimum commitment or lock-in period?

There's no lock-in period or minimum commitment on either plan. There is a one-time setup fee: 750€ on QUIXOTIC Lite, and quote-based on full QUIXOTIC, depending on project scope.

I manage multiple brands or entities, is QUIXOTIC Lite right for me?

Lite is designed for a single, standard operation. If you manage multiple brands or entities, the QUIXOTIC plan is built for that level of complexity from the initial project analysis.

How is the final price calculated for each plan?

For Lite, price depends on CUPS volume and the modules activated. For QUIXOTIC, price is defined after an initial analysis of your operation, volume, and integration needs, so it's offered on a quote basis.

How proven is the platform behind QUIXOTIC Lite?

QUIXOTIC currently manages over 1M CUPS, with active clients in Spain and Germany, serving 30+ energy retailers. Lite runs on the same cloud-native architecture used by our largest clients: starting with Lite doesn't mean a "trial" version of the technology, it's the same platform already proven at scale.

What modules does QUIXOTIC Lite include?

Lite includes the core modules you need to operate from day one: Billing (indexed and fixed pricing, self-consumption), CRM with the client portal, Switching and messaging with distributors, and Accounting & Collections (direct debit, SEPA). Additional modules and custom product configurations are available on the full QUIXOTIC plan.
