QUIXOTIC is designed as an API-first platform. Any data or process within the environment is accessible via API to integrate with your energy retailer's existing systems.

→ API v3 (recommended): Cognito authentication, designed for portal integrations and new clients
→ API v2: API key authentication, built for B2B integrations with partners and external systems

Documentation always up to date

The API documentation lives within QUIXOTIC's own domain and updates automatically every time a configuration change is made. No gaps between what the API does and what the documentation says.

Flexibility without code

QUIXOTIC's architecture allows fields and entities in the API to be enabled or disabled in minutes, without touching a single line of code. This means integrations adapt to each client's needs quickly and without depending on development cycles.

What it's used for

The API connects QUIXOTIC with accounting ERPs, CRMs, reporting platforms, BI tools or any system that needs to read or write data from the environment. Every feature developed in QUIXOTIC goes through the same API that clients use. Everything the platform does internally is accessible externally.

But it's not just data synchronisation. Our clients use the API as a foundation to build their own tools on top of QUIXOTIC: customer service platforms where agents view and operate in real time on contracts, invoices and payment status; AI-powered assistants that answer support queries using real billing and consumption data; payment collection automations with external gateways like Stripe; or custom portals with tariff information, payment plans and outstanding balances.
