→ API v3 (recommended): Cognito authentication, designed for portal integrations and new clients
→ API v2: API key authentication, built for B2B integrations with partners and external systems

The API documentation lives within QUIXOTIC's own domain and updates automatically every time a configuration change is made. No gaps between what the API does and what the documentation says.
